Tree-Mendus
Fruit Cider
We make three types of country-good ciders: Cherry Apple Cider, a special recipe blending
the flavors of Tree-Mendus apples and cherries, Dark Apple Cider, an apple cider made from
a special blend of more than a dozen apple varieties grown on the farm, and Heritage Apple
Cider, an old-fashioned cider made exclusively from the old-time apple varieties grown
here at Tree-Mendus Fruit.

Different
ways to Enjoy Apple Cider
Our dark apple cider is completely natural, so keep it cool and use it
within a week or two. At this time we do have pasteurized as well as unpasturized.
To store cider longer, just loosen the cap a little, leave about three inches
of head space for expansion and freeze.
| ***Thaw
frozen cider until slightly mushy and eat with a spoon. (a favorite for kids) |
***Serve
Cider cold in a clear glass garnished with a strawberry, cherry, lemon or lime wedge and a
sprig of mint. |
***Use
cider instead of the usual broth to create a tangy stuffing for pork and poultry. |

Cider to boiling and serve with a stick of cinnamon. |
***Thicken
cider with cornstarch, add some lemon juice, almonds and raisins for a delicious sauce for
meats. |
