June 8 Open For The Season
Open 10 - 6 p.m. daily, closed Tuesdays. After Labor Day we are open
10-6p.m. Friday through Monday. Orchard closed at 5:30 through the season.
June 15 Sweet Cherry Harvest Begins**
Many varieties from which to choose from in the country store or U-Pick through
mid-July.
June 30 Tart
Cherry Harvest Begins (ending late July)**
as the sweet cherry harvest continues. We call it the "sweet
tart" cherry season and continues through mid July. We have over 20 different
award winning varieties, mainly growing on dwarf trees. We maintain clean facilities
for washing and removing the pits through the cherry season.
July 6
We offer an educational Cherry Pit Spitting Clinic from 2-4 p.m. Learn
from the Champs the most successful Pit-Spitting methods.

July 7, 34th Annual
International Cherry Pit Spitting Championship
A "Spittacular Day!" Qualifying Rounds 10 a.m. to noon. Championship Round
1-3 p.m. Spit your pit in public with only a minimal loss of dignity while gaining
fame. Cherry U-Pick continues. Food available. Farm animal corral, clean
picnic& play ground. Free admission & parking. |
July 6 Apricot Harvest Begins*
Continues through late July. Over 10 varieties available to extend our
season. Fresh picked and frozen apricots & cherries available in our Market year
round.
July 13 Early Peach Harvest Begins*
Harvest ends mid Sept. Visit our Market for
tasty peach treats.
August is the "Peachiest" Month
You will find over 36 varieties of peaches and nectarines ripening in
rotation at Tree-Mendus Fruit farm. Each variety has its own appearance, flavor, and
texture. The best place to meet a real peach is in our orchard. Many
have met here and found "love at first bite".

Peach and Nectarine harvest continues, Plum & early
Apple Harvest begins*. "Love ya a Bushel and a Peck". With each
bushel of apples or peaches you pick, receive a free peck of Tree-Mendus
Fruit as you check out. We will be making Cherry Waffle Boats filled with our own
Cherry Brite Topping. Clean Picnic & Play ground area...farm animal Corral,
farm-wagon Rides.
Sept 5 Early Fall Hours Begin
Open 10-6 PM Fri., Sat., Sun., & Mon. through Oct 30th Closed
Tuesdays through Thursday. Special event and group tour with reservations
welcome almost anytime.
Sept 7 Heritage Apple Showcase begins*
We produce over 230 varieties of apples. Showcase display and sampling
counter open each weekend through October 29th. Private Tours by reservation.
We ship fresh gift packages of Heritage Apple's along with other Tree-Mendus Fruit
products.
Sept 22
Apple harvest continues as many late maturing
varieties like Mutsu, Jonagold, Fuji and Rome become available. At this time
our country side is changing into the fall colors. Farm-wagon rides, picnic and play
grounds, pumpkins, farm animal corral and pony rides. Waffle irons are ready for our
Waffle Boat filled with our own Cherry Brite Topping, a real treat! You may
also warm up by the fire on the cold fall days.

Farm animal corral , pony rides, playground and picnic area. Ask for

Begins*
When U-Pick and buy 1/2 bushel of apples you may pick the second 1/2 bushel free.
This offer is good through October 31st, 2004, or when our last apple has been
picked!

Late fall hours begin. Country Market will be open 10 - 2 PM Mon. - Fri.
through Dec. 19. We'll be packing beautiful apple gift packs for the holidays.

Fruit Safari Tour: Set out on the
trail with one of our trusty guides aboard our custom-made Orchard Wagon. We take
along all of the necessary equipment for the safe capture & containment of the
juiciest bounty of the season. Please call during regular business hours for
reservations. 15 person minimum.
Rent-A-Tree: In our "Family Tree Orchard". It's like having your own place in
the country. We have 8 apple varieties to choose from. For more information

A GREAT PLACE TO HOLD YOUR NEXT OUTDOOR
EVENT. Tree-Mendus FruitŪ Farm provides a
natural setting for many special events. Our farm has privacy - there are no public roads
crossing our land. Every caution is taken for your safety. Consider hosting
your event in our spacious private Picnic Area complete with a large shelter nestled in a
wooded valley. (we offer private family size picnic areas as well). At the end of a
quiet path is our Outdoor Chapel, a naturally beautiful setting for weddings. Call
