What's Ripe-N-Ready?

Welcome to Tree-Mendus Fruit, reporting on what's going on here at the orchard.   Our country store is open for the harvesting season.  We will be open Wednesday through Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., our orchard closes at 5:30 p.m.  so be sure to arrive early enough to do your harvesting.   You can call us any time during business hours for harvesting questions.   If, when you call, we can't get to the phone, listen to the Ripe-N-Ready report and it will give you instructions on how to leave a message and we will return you call as soon as possible. You can e-mail us with any questions as well.

You may now pick Sweet cherries through June 29th. Tart cherries are ready as well, and they are Tree-Mendus.  When planning your trip for cherry picking, don't forget our pitting facilities available for your tart cherry harvest.  Bring a cooler to transport your harvest home. You may also want to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in our picnic and playground area.

Don't forget to try a Cherry Waffle Boat while visiting.  This tree-mendus treat is topped with our own Cherry Brite topping and whipped cream.  Served with your choice of our own apple cider or coffee. Something you don't want to miss!

We expect to start peaches around July 11th. Soon to follow will be plums, nectarines, and apples.  Keep in touch for the in-season dates.

You may plan your visit at the same time as our International Cherry Pit-Spitting Championship held on July 7th, 2007.  We will have tart cherry harvesting going on, and you may just see how great you are at spitting a pit!!!

Did you know in addition to U-Pick and we-pick fruit in season, Tree-Mendus Fruit Farm accommodates company picnics, group orchard tours and country dinners by reservation.  Our recreation area is a private picnic area nestled in a valley surrounded by trees for privacy.  A pavilion is also available in case of rain.  So plan for next spring or summer now.  Call during regular office hours to schedule your event.

Our "Family Rent-A Tree" program allows families to "lease" an apple tree for the season.  We take care of it; all you have to do is pick it!  Many apple varieties are available.  Call for more information.   This make's a great gift for that person that has everything.  It's a gift for the entire family to enjoy.
